*Interesting Facts about your animal(s): Mr.Kai was rescued out of a home, in which he was neglected as a pet of an extreme hoarder, in Nova Scotia before he was even 1 year old, and flew up to Fort McMurray with me in cabin when he was 2, he charmed the pilot so much he was allowed to run around the cabin during our 8 hour stop over in Calgary. Lilac was around 2 when we found her at the spca, and to date she has never struck in frustration or anger, this cat is bomb proof and proves that every day by being the most tolerant cat I have ever known. She puts up with a 110 pound puppy daily, that has to count for something. Calluu is an escape artist, before she came to our home she had to be housed in 2 tanks, one locked inside the other. She was lost for about 8 months before she came to live with us but she hasn’t made an escape since. She’s a pretty chill snake and love to cuddle. Manna is a pup that loves people, she’s a bit of an excitement jumper though she’s working on it. She’ll be walking for the spca on September the 7th and entering some of the competitions that day. She generally well behaved for her age which is a good thing because she’s 110 pounds and growing.
*Animal(s) Favorite Treat: Mr. Kai love apples and bananas Lilac loves…actually she’s picky and doesn’t really love much other than sleeping in weird places. Calluu sticks with moucicles (frozen mice) and Manna loves food in general though her favourite is probably cheese.
*Animal(s) Favorite Trick: Mr.Kai poses for the camera and plays chase Lilac talks back to you and goes limp when picked up (suspected rag doll trait) Calluu can eat upside down Manna is learning to help pull people back onto their feet and just be a good big/little helper. Though finding things under furnature comes in a close second.
*Perspective on Adopting a Rescue: Rescue animals love you just as much if not more than animals that you buy or raise, I will be continuing to adopt when I have more space and time to do so. Right now though 4 animals and a husband is all I can manage.
