*What is the name of your business?

KeriCure Inc

*What is your name?
Kerriann Greenhalgh

*How long has your business been around for?
Since Jan. 2011, although I have been developing the technology behind our products since 2007.

*Why was it started?
My husband got a small cut on his hand that ended up getting a serious Staph infection and required surgery to treat. After that, I realized there just wasn’t anything that was effective at preventing infections, for people or for their pets. That’s why I decided to create KeriCure, and provide a natural, safe and effective barrier against germs.

*Do you have any animals? If so, name, breed and something interesting about them?
We have 4 rescue dogs and 2 rescue cats (and a ton of saltwater fish :D )

1 – Butters – Lab/Whipit mix. Named after the character on South Park. He has the highest pitch bark and likes to do twirls when he’s excited. He is a funny boy
2 – Stewie – Pit mix. Named after the baby in Family Guy. He is the alpha, even though he is younger than Butters, and is our protector from loud noises and intruders. Beware of the Stewie!
3 – Leela – Boxer mix. Named after the character in Futurama. She was my pride and joy. Absolutely beautiful with the kindest soul you could ask for. She recently left us after a 3 month fight with brain cancer, 1 month shy of her 7th birthday.
4 – Penny – Pit/American Bulldog. Named after Big Bang Theory. She is the sweetest girl, without a care in the world. She is always down to run around and play.

Cats – Jack and Archer – both rescues from a kill shelter. Outdoor cats but also love to lounge around on my plant shelves in the kitchen and spy on us all day.

*What do you specialize in?
We specialize in natural, safe and effective first aid and skin care products for pets of all shapes and sizes.

*What types of services do you offer?
No services, just exception products that soothe, seal and heal!

*What is the approx. cost?
Retail price is $15.99 for Tough Seal – a 2oz bottle with over 300 applications!

*If someone wanted to book an appointment with you how do they get a hold of you?
sales@kericure.com

*What do you plan to accomplish with your business in 2014?
Grow our sales and distribution for all our products, as well as work with pet organizations to help promote healthy and safe pets.
