If you are interested in today’s adorable adoptables, in each profile there will be contact information on how you can reach each rescue. Please feel free to share this post as you never know who may see it and fall in love with these three adoptables. Let’s get them into their forever homes! Adopting Rolo was the best decision our family has made! Second hand dogs make first class pets :)

maddy
Meet Maddie & Teddy! These two are a bonded pair who have been together for since birth. Maddy is a fixed female and Teddy is a fixed male, both small Chow mixed breeds who are around 12 years old and they have great leash manners! The love everyone; kids, adults, males & females!

*What shelter or rescue are these adoptables from and where are they located?
Best Friends FurEver, a 501 ©3 non-profit organization (in Humble, Texas – right outside of Houston) dedicated to saving lives by sheltering homeless or abandoned dogs and cats and adopting them into loving homes. All of our companion animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, and on heartworm preventative, prior to adoption.

*Facts about the Adoptables:
This is a bonded pair – they have been together for 12 years, we think they might be siblings. They really need to stay together because they are inseparable. Although being fostered in the greater Houston area, they can be transported virtually anywhere in the U.S. because one of the volunteers works for United Airlines and regularly transports pets for this reason.

*Any interesting stories about this adoptable?
They are an owner surrender due to “extenuating circumstances” – the owner was hospitalized, the kids wouldn’t/couldn’t take them because they had no yard, etc. They describe Maddie and Teddy as “the perfect dogs” – very sweet, love people of all kinds including kids, great around other dogs and also cats. They are crate-trained, housebroken, fixed, up-to-date on all shots. Now all they need is a loving home so they can spend their twilight years knowing they belong to a family and are loved.

*What type of home would this adoptable most suit into?
Really any type of home since they are good with all kinds of people, ages, and other pets

*Any other information you think we should know about this adoptable?
It’s important for people to know that though they are in the Greater Houston area in Texas, they can be transported almost anywhere in the U.S. thanks to a volunteer who works at United Airlines! J
No other info I can think of. They are senior citizen doggies, so understandably some people pass those up, but they are so sweet, I think they would bring a family a lot of love and joy.

*If someone wanted to put in an adoption application, how can they do that?
They would need to contact their foster “mom” – Dora LaBorde, at 281-682-5753, and adoption would be formally handled through Best Friends Furever.

mortemur
Meet Mortemur; a fixed, male shepherd mix who is 2.7 years old. He is doing wonderful with his leash manners as he has made a ton of progress since coming to Infinite Woofs but he does tend to pull sometimes, so just some more coaching needed. He’s good with men & women as well as kids of all ages, as his foster mom runs a dayhome. He plays best with female dogs. It takes him longer to warm up to male dogs and he is not a fan of felines!

*What shelter or rescue is this adoptable from and where are you located?
Infinite WOOFS Animal Rescue Society. We are located in and around the Edmonton area.

*Any interesting stories about this adoptable?
Mortimur is super lovable. Very affectionate and loves cuddles. He jumps into bed first thing in the morning to get some love. He is definitely a mama’s boy. He follows his foster mom around wherever she goes. Loyal and devoted.

*What type of home would this adoptable most suit into?
Mortemur would do well with a family that has children. He would thrive in a home with a big back yard attached. He’s also always up for a walk or a jog. In the past he has become anxious in small places (car) and around new people. He’s become much more relaxed with the help of his foster family.

*If someone wanted to put in an adoption application, how can they do that?
An application can be filled out on our website: http://www.infinitewoofs.org/dog.html

or you can inquire at one of our many adoption events. These events are updated regularly on our website and Facebook Page.
