Comments:
As you can see from the photo below, the kit isn’t big at all, it fits right into that box! Which means it doesn’t take up a lot of space, perfect for keeping a few of them on hand for regular monitoring as recommended by a veterinarian, or, for those who want to check on their pets health in-between their routine visits. The telescopic pole comes detached from the ring and with a quick couple turns, it attaches or detaches. The telescopic pole is very sturdy even once extended. Inside the box was an attached result card, it was perforated along the sides to tear off, and came off easily, no fighting with this box!

The CheckUp kit includes:
1 telescopic pole
1 detachable metal ring to hold 1 large, disposable cup
1 sample collection pipette
1 sample collection vial to hold small urine sample for testing
2 identical testing strips to dip into urine samples and compare results on card

Comments:
I am all about convenience and let me tell you how much I appreciated the telescopic pole so I didn’t have to frantically chase Rolo around with a cup and possible getting his urine all over my hand (ick). It was so easy. So easy that I had Rolo’s sister in a carrier while I did this outside out hotel room this morning.

Directions for Use:
Attach the metal ring to the telescopic pole by rotating it
Pull the metal ring to extend the pole and place the cup in it
Catch a sample while pet is urinating and bring home for testing
Fill the vial using the pipette to at least 3/4
Simply dip the strip into collected urine and make sure to submerge all of the squares
Quickly place the strip on the results card and read according to instructions
If necessary close the vial with the cap and keep in refrigerator
If test shows positive results, take the sample to the vet for further information

Final Thoughts:
I was really excited to test out this product as I knew how one of the results was going to come back without even taking the test. Rolo has Epilepsy and with that, he can never get enough water intake, resulting in protein in the urine especially in the morning. This sample was taken in the morning and you can tell he was dehydrated by  the color of his urine. Nothing I didn’t expect as we have been dealing with his Canine Epilepsy for over 5 years now. It was super easy to use and it eases my mind knowing that there is something out there that can be done in home in between vet appointments or for regular monitoring as recommended by a veterinarian.
