Shoo Natural Shampoo & Conditioner [Product Review]

Today we are doing a sponsored pet product review on the Shampoo & Conditioner from Shoo Natural®. It’s not everyday when you get to test out a product from literally across the world! Don’t worry, they ship everywhere! I’m so honored & thrilled to work with this amazing girl boss! The creator; Agota was horrified of the amount of harsh, toxic ingredients in human and PET cleaning products that she started her own natural line, suitable for both pets and their humans.(Paragraph Credit: https://shoonatural.com/pages/about-us)

Here is a great article on Huffington Post that Agota did;

Rub a Dub Dub, Let’s start this product review!

First lets talk about the product design & packaging. We received 2 bottles of shampoo, 2 bottles of conditioner, 2 aromatherapy clay medallions and a bottle of essential oil(cedar wood). The bottles them self are simple, clean and neat. They only have the Shoo Natural logo on them. The shampoo & conditioner bottles do have a difference, one has a two toned logo and the other just a one colored logo. All of the information about the product is found on the adorable & funky box. As you can tell below, Rolo was getting a bath outside. He will not get into a bath tub or any grooming tub. This is just his personality and I respect that. So I warm up a big plastic tub of warm water and use a cup to rinse his fur. He doesn’t mind this and it was a beautiful day outside when we tried it out. Rolo is a BIG guy and I didn’t have to use a whole giant handful of soap in order to do his body. I only wash from the collar area down. I used the eucalyptus shampoo first, lathered it onto his body and washed it off. I than used the eucalyptus conditioner next and left it for a minute than rinsed. I thought to myself that Rolo would smell like “cold/flu recovery”, I only say that because when I am sick I used a lot of essential oils and eucalyptus is one of them. You know what smell I am talking about. Rolo smelled good and the smell wasn’t overpowering at all, which I love. Especially if you know someone who has a sensitive nose or allergies.
Rolo wasn’t a fan of the towelling off part but I managed to snap a picture of him wearing his own paw print towel. After his fur was done drying, by towel and then naturally, I gave him a quick brush to get out all the loose, unwanted dead hair. He was so smooth! I mean, I pet him more than a few times a day and know exactly what his hair feels like. This was like moisturized, luxurious hair, not to mention I didn’t see any dandruff. The Shoo Natural shampoo & conditioners are great for dry & itchy skin, give deep conditioning, prevents static hair, leaves it smooth and moisturized, may help repel fleas, ticks and other bugs and most importantly it’s suitable for any breed of dog, all hair types!
Next I tried out the EXACT SAME SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER on myself! You read that right! I used the shampoo first, it lathered up nicely and my hair felt squeaky clean. I mean, I’m a mom, there’s days where I can’t shower each day, so who knows what is built up in my hair. If I had to guess….it would be oil. I used the conditioner next but let it sit for more than a minute. As I always shower before bedtime, I went to bed with wet hair. In the am when I woke up, there were no knots and my hair was soft and voluptuous!

As for the Clay Medallion. It came with a cedar wood essential oil bottle. Cedar wood may prevent ticks, fleas and other icky insects. Rolo will 100% be wearing this on walks in the woods. Ticks are becoming very common here and that scares me! After you put a few drops onto the medallion, let the essential oils seep in. It should last for a few days before you need to add more to it.

Overall, I am really happy with these products for both Rolo & Myself! Only downside is that it does take a little while to get here(hello, they are on the other side of the world, of course it takes time) BUT they are so worth the wait. The owner Agota, is fabulous and I love what she is doing for shelter animals around the world. Shining a light on them! #RoloApproved #DogMomApproved

Not only do they make the Eucalyptus & Cedar-wood shampoo & conditioners, they also make regular, wild orange and lavender(limited edition). PLUS, snacks, toys, balms, scrubs, sprays and the essential oil clay medallions.
